Baldwin Boyle Group announces new Australian leadership

Baldwin Boyle Group (BBG) today announced the appointment of Georgie Morell as Managing Director Australia, effective immediately.

Ms Morell brings to BBG more than 20 years of experience in capital market communications, corporate communications and reputation and crisis management. She has successfully led her own boutique practice and served in senior roles at Fidelity Investments and Bank of America in Boston, Fidelity International, the Australian Securities and Investment Commission, Wesfarmers and BHP.

BBG’s Group Managing Director Kylie Taylor said the Australian office is looking forward to the breadth of experience Ms Morell brings to not only to BBG in Australia, but the business globally.

“Georgie Morell brings a unique set of skills, which is perfect for BBG as we look to meet our clients’ growing needs for investor relations and financial services capability.

“Australian businesses are now looking abroad for growth, and Georgie’s experience in global markets fits perfectly in with BBG’s vision,” said Ms Taylor.

At the same time, BBG is expanding its team in its Shanghai, China office to meet demand from Australian clients, bolstering its digital team in Singapore and opening a new office in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Ms Morell has deep experience advising both renowned Australian and international enterprises from a wide spectrum of industries covering banking, property, agtech, medtech, resources and funds management.

Ms Morell earned her Bachelor of Arts (Public Relations) at RMIT, attended Trinity College at the University of Melbourne, studied Financial Markets at FINSIA and the executive program, Women Leading Business: Innovation and Success at Harvard Business School.

With a Diploma in Investor Relations, Ms Morell is a Member of the Australasian Investor Relations Association.

She was previously a Board Member of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and Boston Theatre Works.
