Heather Shiels joined our Auckland office in 2016 from TVNZ bringing with her 20 years of media experience both in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom.
She has held a range of media and communications roles including Chief of Staff, senior producer and reporter, and communications manager, and has produced branded content for a range of companies.
Some career highlights to date include her time as producer for the BBC’s HARDtalk interview programme based in London, and managing c-suite events at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Heather is an experienced and creative content maker. She is adept at building relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders and is accustomed to working in high-tempo environments and making important decisions under pressure. She has a good understanding of the political landscape having recently produced the Q+A television programme for TVNZ and from her time reporting in Wellington.
